Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your role encompasses a variety of critical responsibilities, including:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations to assess clients' needs and mental health status.
• Developing personalized therapy plans that take into account each client’s unique situation and treatment goals.
• Utilizing diverse therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy, to address mental health issues effectively.
• Implementing behavioral therapy methods and engaging clients in their therapeutic processes, promoting an active role in their mental well-being.
• Maintaining meticulous documentation of client interactions and progress within our electronic medical records (EMR) system.
• Participating in ongoing professional development activities, including training on new therapeutic methods and tools, to enhance your skills and stay up-to-date in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on helping individuals facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. You will collaborate with clients from diverse backgrounds, ensuring that your approach is culturally sensitive and attuned to their specific needs.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following:

• A Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a therapy role, with a strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic practices.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate with other team members.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems; proficiency in telehealth technology is a plus.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
