Job description

Synchron has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Management/POM Analyst to provide financial management support to the U.S. Navy's OPNAV N7 team at the Pentagon. You will provide direct support to OPNAV N7 (Warfighting Development).

Responsibilities: Work closely with N7 leadership on execution of program funds. Support includes all aspects of building and developing the OPNAV N7 annual POM process and deliverables, ensuring Strategic Alignment & Integration across all lines of effort to deliver a balanced, defendable OPNAV N7 Program within fiscal constraints. * Consolidate information across the N7 portfolio (Programs, Directorates, and Divisions, as required) to produce information papers, talking points, briefs, etc., for the purpose of supporting OPNAV N7 POM decisions.

Develop meeting agendas and record meeting minutes and actions items in support of the POM process, including all associated phases and lines of efforts. Serve as a liaison/coordination point for all N7 programs, platforms, capabilities, and systems. This will include answering Congressional inquiries, providing inputs to reclamas for programs marked by FMB, OSD, and Congress.

Identify, track, update and report on Action Items assigned. Technical preparation and formatting of official correspondence. * Provide budget, cost, and financial analysis and recommendations to N7 leadership.

Education and Experience: Minimum 3 years professional experience in business and financial management. Experience providing programmatic and budgetary support to the DoW; Navy experience preferred Knowledge and work experience with the DoW's PPBE process. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel.

Active DoW Secret clearance Capable of performing tasking without constant reminders; ability to recognize and complete adjacent tasking without direction. Desired Education and Experience 5+ years professional experience in business and financial management. PBIS experience is highly desirable.

Prior OPNAV Office Experience. Experience working with Navy ERP or equivalent DoW systems. * Working knowledge of RDTEN and WPN Appropriations.
