Job description

Over the years, Ophthalmology Ltd.'s name has become associated with the highest quality of comprehensive medical and surgical eye care. Ophthalmology Ltd. delivers treatment for cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, as well as cornea transplants, oculoplastic surgery, retina surgery, vitreoretinal surgery, and pediatric eye care in Sioux Falls.

Our clinic is looking to add a full-time ophthalmic technician (patient care) to our team.

No experience necessary - will provide on-the-job training.

The ophthalmic technician assists in providing quality patient care, gathering health information, and updating charts. Performs diagnostic eye tests such as tonometry, visual fields, refractions, IOLM, and imaging. Will assist with scheduling appointments and outside services, and will maintain patient treatment areas throughout the clinic. Must possess strong people and computer skills. Some (same-day) travel to satellite clinics.

Monday - Friday, day schedule. 40 hours/week. No late nights, overnights, weekends, holidays, or calls.

Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
