Forklift Operator

Our personal care and household product portfolio includes baby diapers, wipes, feminine pads, paper towels, bath tissue, adult incontinence products, laundry detergents, fabric finishers, and dishwash solutions. In addition, we manufacture certain raw materials and components used in the manufacturing of these products, including flexible print and packaging solutions.

We are seeking experienced Forklift Operators for our First Quality Baby Products site located in Macon, GA.

Staring pay rate for this position is $20/hour.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Operate forklifts with various attachments.
  • Work in a fast paced, quality and safety focused team environment.
  • Calculate accurate tallies and documentation during the loading and unloading process
  • Operate a Radio Frequency Gun
  • Observe all safety rules, including GMP regulations/guidelines; maintain quality standards for the product, and perform other duties as necessary when directed to do so.

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

  • Frequent walking and standing for a 12-hour period
  • Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs
  • Daily sweeping and organizing work area
  • Ability to operate and forklift
  • Be able to work a 12 hour night shift is required
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Have at least 18 months of experience operating a forklift
  • Have at least three years of continuous work experience. Less than three years will require referral from a current First Quality team member
