Job Description Summary

Operators are responsible for monitoring and maintaining liquid tanks, filtering, transferring, and adjustments of liquids, manufacturing of batches, filling of finished product containers, and sampling as required. Performs in-process testing on milled products. Accountable to follow all SOPs and GMPs.

Job Description

  • Monitor and maintain tanks
    • Load raw materials using PLC system
    • Load raw materials using manual load system
    • Dispose of used totes/drums and packaging as necessary
    • Pump to vertical mills as necessary and samples taken
    • Pump off tanks to designated packout tanks
    • Unload raw material tankers
  • Filter, transfer, and adjust liquids as described in standard operating procedures
  • Operate a forklift to load and unload materials, transport products, and assist in material handling activities
  • Fill finished product containers as described in standard operating procedures
  • Inspect equipment to include, but not limited to forklifts, pumps, lines/hoses, fittings, ladders, etc.
  • Accurately record all pertinent processing data, including the addition of raw materials or intermediate products while processing.
  • Fulfill written work orders as assigned
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and adherence to regulatory standards
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • All other tasks assigned by management.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Special Requirements and Independency: Ability to follow many different written directions

Traveling Required: N/A

Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand, walk, reach, stoop, squat, climb ramps & stairs, push and pull, reach at or below waist level and occasionally overhead, drive (forklift), hear, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds (machinery alarms).

***Fit for duty physical must be passed for this position
