Job description


We are looking for a Machine Operator Trainee to join our team. As a Machine Operator Trainee with Quikrete Hardscapes and Masonry, you will be learning machine operation, quality control, and equipment maintenance.

About the Role

Responsibilities:

  • Operate sophisticated and computerized heavy manufacturing equipment
  • Ensure equipment and tools are used according to manufacturer’s specifications
  • Take a variety of measurements throughout the shift to monitor the process and ensure quality
  • Perform machine set-up and maintenance as needed according to specifications as well as clean the machines as needed throughout the shift
  • Operate a forklift as needed
  • Report to Plant Supervisor

About You

We Require:

  • Must have at least 1-year of manufacturing experience
  • Show strong mechanical aptitude and trouble shooting skills
  • Have knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, power transmission, pneumatic, and control systems
  • Must show past ability to work independently and with a team
  • Must be able to operate and work around industrial machinery
  • Must be able to wear safety glasses, hearing protection, and all other PPE as required
  • Must be able to work with others with limited supervision
  • Must be able to take direction in a manufacturing environment with ever changing demands
