Role Summary

Performs work associated with the operation of assigned mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Job Details
  • Position Type: Full time/Non-Exempt (Hourly)

  • Shift: 3rd, 11pm - 7am

  • Work Location: Onsite - Farmington Hills, MI 48335

  • Compensation:
    Salary range: $19.00+, based on experience and qualifications

  • Shift Differentials:
    +$1.00/hr for 2nd shift and +$1.25/hr for 3rd shift

Job Duties
  • Operate assigned mechanical equipment

  • Ensure that items produced pass quality control requirements

  • Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately

  • Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)

  • Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures

  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Shift Availability- Flexibility to train on 1st or 3rd shift

Experience and Education
  • Perform work under direct supervision

  • Handle basic issues and problems and refer more complex issues to higher-level staff

  • Possess beginning to working knowledge of subject matter

  • Typically require a high school diploma or equivalent and 0 to 2 years of experience

Competencies/ Skills
  • Ability to interpret work instructions

  • Ability to follow written and verbal directions

  • Basic verbal and written communication skills

  • Basic mathematical skills
