Machine & Production Operator

Location: Dover Wipes Plant, OH
Shift Options: 12-hour Day or Night (varies by business need)
Work Hours: 43.75 hrs/week


Job Summary

Seeking reliable Machine & Production Operators to support manufacturing operations at the Dover Wipes Plant. This role is ideal for individuals with strong mechanical aptitude who can work in a fast-paced production environment and support continuous operations across 12-hour shifts.


Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor production machinery to ensure safe and efficient performance.

  • Set up machines and adjust equipment to required specifications.

  • Inspect materials and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.

  • Perform routine checks and assist with troubleshooting mechanical issues.

  • Support preventive maintenance, equipment calibration, and system adjustments.

  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and safety requirements.

  • Maintain clean work areas and follow all plant safety procedures.


Must-Have Qualifications
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts (2-2-3 rotation, straight days, or straight nights—assigned based on business need).

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Ability to stand for long periods and work in a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong reliability, teamwork, and communication skills.


Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Mechanical aptitude or experience working with industrial machinery (engines, pumps, conveyors, compressors, gears, bearings, etc.).
