Full Time Driver / Operator

DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY FOR LOCAL CDL A DRIVERS HOME DAILY

We are expanding and need 10 drivers for a new move for a multi-year contract.

Whitcomb Trucking Inc. is currently seeking experienced professional driver's to come join our team at our Valparaiso, Indiana location. We work all year around. We have great CSA scores and we care about our people. Consider coming to be a part of our family.

OUR DRIVERS:

Sleep at home in their own bed every night

Drive well Maintained Equipment

Drive a day-cab Tractor or Quad Axle

Make $58,000 to 65,000 per year

Mostly Stock-Pile work

Preferred Routes Regional Carrier

Knowledge of all applicable DOT and Motor Carrier Safety Regulations

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Must Live within 50 miles of Valparaiso, Indiana

Minimum Age 23 years of Age

Valid Class A CDL Indiana license (in cases of recent relocation you must be able to change your license with in 30 days)

3 - 5 years of relevant work experience (We will consider military driving experience)

Have an Acceptable Driving Record

Ability to pass a DOT Physical and Drug Screen

No DUI's in the past 5 Years

No Alcohol related offenses in the past 5 years

Good Team Player

Good Communication skills, both written and speaking

Dump experience is a plus

NO Drug Test refusal past 5 years

NO Reckless Driving Conviction past 5 years

NO Passing School Bus Conviction past 5 years

NO Dragracing Conviction Ever

NO Hit and Run Conviction past 5 years

NO other Felony Conviction past 5 years
