Job description

The Telebelt Operator plays a key role in our Residential and Commercial Foundation Division by safely operating telebelt trucks, setting up equipment at construction job sites, directing conveyor system to control concrete, rock, and sand, and maintaining machinery to ensure reliable performance. This role requires strict compliance with DOT regulations and traffic laws, as well as ensuring safe loading and unloading of equipment and materials.
Principal Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily pre trip and post trip inspections of equipment; ensure mechanical issues and safety concerns with vehicle are corrected before operation
  • Report and document defects, accidents and violations
  • Perform daily operator maintenance of truck (i.e. fueling, lubricants, cleaning)
  • Plans and prepare travel routes to meet delivery schedules
  • Responsible for safety and security of assigned vehicle as well as job site security and safety as it pertains to overhead boom operations (i.e. power lines, survey markers)
  • Responsible for crew adherence to jobsite safety while lifting supplies and equipment on the job site
  • Communicate effectively with general contractors and job site supervisors
  • Perform general jobsite problem solving and elevate needs to management
  • Manage mobile timecard data entry
  • Prepare incident or accident reports as needed.
  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of two years verifiable experience operating a truck preferred
  • Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) required with air brake endorsement and clean driving record required
  • Must pass DOT background check and drug screening OSHA certification preferred
