Pay: $18–$21/hour, depending on experience

A manufacturing and fabrication company in Hutto is seeking a Welder Helper / Fabrication Helper to assist the welding and production team. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on manufacturing experience who is comfortable working around metal fabrication, grinding, material movement, and general shop support.


Responsibilities include:

  • Assist welders and fabrication team members with setup and material preparation.
  • Grind welds and metal surfaces to required specifications.
  • Clean fabricated parts and remove debris, slag, or excess material.
  • Mark, stamp, or identify parts according to production needs.
  • Move raw materials and finished products using appropriate equipment.
  • Perform basic visual inspections of materials and completed work.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
  • Assist with other production and fabrication tasks as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Previous manufacturing or fabrication experience preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to read a tape measure and follow instructions.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced shop environment.
