Job description

Our client, a major oil and gas producer, is currently looking for a Field Operator based out of the Medicine Hat, AB area. Successful candidates will be involved in various oil and gas field operating duties. This is a home every night position on a 9/5 schedule.  You must be local to the area as accomodations are not provided for this position.
Requirements include:
  • Preference given to 2+ years experience as an oil and gas field operator, however willing to train the right candidate with applicable oil and gas experience
  • Experience operating oil and gas equipment
  • Must be a team player with strong communication skills
  • Self-motivated, open-minded and learning mindset
  • Must be able to troubleshoot and handle issues as they arise
  • Must have required safety tickets (First Aid, H2S, etc.)
  • Capable of passing a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
  • Must have full class 5 driver license.  No Graduated Driver License.
