Job description

The Senior Operations Support Engineer assists in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of company process control systems, training programs, and operational workflows. Working under the direction of the Operations Support Manager, this role helps to drives crossdepartmental initiatives that promote consistency, efficiency, and alignment across the organization. This position helps design and maintain scalable systems and processes that support project delivery, financial health, and longterm company growth.
To perform this job successfully, the Senior Operations Support Engineer must perform each essential duty satisfactorily and promptly. The following duties represent the job but are not all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned as needed.
Training
Assist with the design and teaching, and help maintain company training programs including industry specific education.
Create and manage the company's training library, ensuring up-to-date resources are available.
Lead or coordinate training for Project Administrators on systems, processes, and project controls, ensuring consistency in how they support projects.
Aid in the training process of all employees on new software systems, technology upgrades, and digital tools.
Provide ongoing support for the adoption and use of digital tools and processes across the company. 
Processes
Work with all departments to analyze, refine, and develop efficient workflows that promote company-wide consistency.
Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure uniformity across departments.
Assist the Operations Support Manager, Senior Leadership and Project Managers to create and maintain a consistent monthly project review system.
Assist the Operations Support Manager with IT and department leaders to manage software systems and ensure budgets and reporting are accurate.
Use data analytics to monitor process performance and identify areas for improvement, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure efficiency.
Assist in change management efforts for new processes or systems, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations.
Track and report on KPIs related to project administration (e.g., processing times, error rates, completeness of documentation) and help assist with those functions as needed to support administration and overall PK operations.
Assist in new process integration across departments to ensure seamless workflows, especially on large-scale projects.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies that enhance operational efficiency, working closely with company stakeholders to ensure smooth transitions.

The following qualifications are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform the job but are not all inclusive.
Bachelor's degree in related field and at least 4 years of relevant experience in construction management or a related field.
Strong experience in project management, mentoring teams, or leading cross-functional collaboration.
Proven ability to implement new processes and technologies while managing change with minimal disruption.
Demonstrated experience supervising or leading project support staff (e.g., Project Administrators, Project Assistants, or similar roles) preferred.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and adaptability in dynamic work environments.
Strong preference for proficiency bin construction management software, including Procore, CMIC, Oracle Fusion Cloud, Bluebeam, or similar systems.
Strong preference for experience in training development, process refinement, and documentation, with a focus on practical implementation.
