Global Operations Specialist, Trip Support Coordinator

GGT WORLDWISE

Job description

Company Description

GGT WORLDWISE has provided secure ground transportation since 1998. Our network spans 186 countries and more than 3,500 vetted chauffeured transportation and security partners, covering major capitals and the places where moving a client from the airport to a meeting takes actual planning.

We helped build the secure ground category. Corporations, executives and private travelers come to us for the trips that cannot go wrong.

ASTORISK is our global intelligence division. It tracks what shapes a trip before the car ever moves: civil unrest, route restrictions, infrastructure failures, local threat conditions. That reporting feeds our operations desk directly, so decisions get made on current information instead of assumption.

Our vetting and compliance standards are strict and they stay strict. Every operator here is accountable for safety and for cost discipline.

Role Description

Global Operations Specialist, Trip Support Coordinator. Full time, on site in Houston, TX.

You join a global operations desk that carries trips from booking to completion as a team. Planning and scheduling, confirming itineraries, adjusting details as they shift, and monitoring service in real time. Trips run across every time zone, so coverage passes between coordinators and between offices. A trip that starts on your screen may land on someone else's, and the handoff has to be clean enough that the client never notices it happened.

The desk sits between clients, chauffeur partners and security professionals on the ground, and internal teams. Problems get caught early because several sets of eyes are on the same board, and because coordinators flag things for each other rather than working in isolation.

You will work alongside ASTORISK analysts. When their reporting flags a route, a city or a window of time, the desk turns it into a change on the ground: a different pickup point, a different vehicle, a different plan.

Day to day, you manage booking requests, keep records accurate in our operations and reservation systems, field client inquiries, track performance, resolve issues, and coordinate with partners worldwide.

Qualifications

  • Clear, calm communication in writing and on the phone. Colleagues and clients will act on the details you relay.
  • A collaborative approach. Shared notes, clean handoffs, and asking for backup before a situation gets tight.
  • Customer service instinct, plus the judgment to know when a client needs an update and when they need a fix.
  • Analytical ability. You read trip details, spot what does not add up, and support operational calls with data.
  • Operations capability. Workflows, schedules and delivery windows managed without dropping threads.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and reservation or CRM systems. Accuracy counts for more here than speed.
  • Experience in corporate aviation, transportation, logistics, travel operations or a related field preferred. Study in business, logistics or hospitality is a plus.
  • Military and veteran experience is always welcome. Watch rotations, movement planning and comms discipline carry over to this desk directly.
  • Standard business hours with flexibility for occasional after hours coordination.
  • A serious commitment to compliance, safety and confidentiality. What clients tell us stays with us.
