About This Position

Scheduled will be Tuesday and Friday 8a-4p, Wednesday and Thursday 7a-7p

The Commissary Operations Supervisor helps manage all aspects of commissary operations and services at the assigned correctional facility. You will help with several aspects of the on-site operations department, including workforce coverage, security and inventory control.

This position is located onsite within a jail/correctional facility and you will work around inmates. You will report to the Operations Manager.

Essential Functions/Main Responsibilities

  • Assist and manage training of new team members.

  • Maintain working knowledge of all phases of your department operations.

  • Make sure employees are working where needed and employees are staying busy.

  • Assist to maintain accurate inventories of all products.

  • Complete required reporting.

  • Document and inform Management of all priority tasks and personnel problems.

  • Report any problems, discrepancies, issues to Management promptly with written documentation.

  • Help with general upkeep of all areas/equipment/products.

  • Take pride in your surroundings by helping maintain a clean workspace.

  • Other responsibilities as determined by our needs.


What You'll Need
  • High School Diploma or GED and/or equivalent experience. Must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Valid driver's license.

  • Familiarity with inventory management.

  • Familiarity with computers.

  • Requires supervisory skills.

  • Define problems, and resolve them quickly.
