Our management company has been doing business in San Diego for 45 years and we have many employees that have been with us since the beginning. We would like to add the right candidate to our team!
We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual with strong work ethics and values to join our team as an Operations Supervisor. As an Operations Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of our restaurants. You will be responsible for overseeing daily activities, managing staff, and maintaining quality standards to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
Responsibilities:
Team Management:
  • Lead and supervise a team of restaurant staff, including crew members and shift leaders.
  • Train, mentor, and motivate team members to achieve operational excellence and provide outstanding customer service.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, set performance goals, and provide constructive feedback to foster growth and development.

Operational Excellence:
  • Ensure all operational procedures, food safety, and quality standards are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with management to order supplies and products as needed.
  • Oversee the preparation and cooking of food to maintain consistency, quality, and presentation.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and resolve issues promptly and professionally.

Health and Safety Compliance:
  • Adhere to and enforce health and safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams to address equipment issues and promptly resolve any maintenance problems.

Financial Management:
  • Assist in controlling operational costs and managing the budget to maximize profitability.
  • Monitor and report on sales and performance metrics, suggesting improvements to enhance efficiency and revenue.
  1. Communication and Collaboration:
  • Maintain effective communication with restaurant management and fellow supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
  • Participate in team meetings, sharing insights and contributing ideas for continuous improvement.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education or relevant certifications in hospitality management is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or management role in the food service industry, preferably in a quick-service restaurant (QSR) setting.
