Job description

Essential Job Functions

  • Execution of the applicable KPI’s per company standard to include “The Morning Routine” and operational aspects of “The Director’s Playbook”.  Please refer to the Crane Worldwide Logistics Operational KPI Standards addendum.    
  • Coordinates daily and weekly activities, planning workloads and staffing accordingly.
  • Accountable for production, supervision and discipline of employees, and conflict resolution. 
  • Monitor and evaluate employees based on goals and standards.  
  • Enforce policy and procedure compliance.
  • Coordinate with other departments within the company. 
  • Respond to & solve production problems.  
  • Train employees on job specific duties and develops employees through coaching. 
  • Make suggestions and show initiative for process improvements.  
  • Effectively communicate with clients, vendors and employees.  
  • Plans layout of warehouse and other storage areas, considering turnover, size, weight, and related factors of items stored. 
  • Assist Operations Manager with planning and budget process.  
  • Other duties as assigned.

 Physical Requirements

  • Talking, hearing and using hands to operate computer equipment  
  • Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus
  • Job will require presence at the assigned work location.

    • Client Service- manages difficult client situations, responds promptly to client needs and welcome client feedback.
    • Quality management-look for ways to improve and promote quality and demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness. 

      Education and Experience

      • High school diploma or GED Required. 
      • Four years industry experience required. 
      • Two years supervisory required. 
      • Forklift Certified. 

      California required disclosure: Salary range for this position is between USD 54,000 - 73,000 annually.
