Are you passionate about shaping the future of humanity's presence in space? Lunar Outpost, an industry leader in space robotics and planetary vehicles, invites you to join our team! Lunar Outpost is dedicated to creating a permanent presence in space, while also driving positive impacts here on Earth. Currently, we are seeking a Marketing Operations Specialist to contribute to our mission in a dynamic startup environment. You'll take care of tasks that keep everything on track-like booking travel, keeping track of merchandise inventory, and organizing our content library. If you're detail-oriented, proactive, and happy wearing many hats, we want to hear from you.
Take the #NextLeap with Lunar Outpost and work on the Pegasus LTV, which will carry NASA astronauts farther than they've ever been before on the lunar surface!
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage logistics for marketing initiatives, including travel, accommodations, and team off-sites
  • Own our branded merchandise program-including inventory tracking, vendor coordination, and fulfillment
  • Organize and maintain content and brand asset libraries, ensuring accessibility and version control
  • Support marketing campaigns, launches, and content production through scheduling, planning, and coordination
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to track deliverables, timelines, and dependencies
  • Assist with event and tradeshow logistics, shipping, and budget tracking
  • Maintain and improve marketing systems (e.g., content calendars, file systems, dashboards)
  • Handle administrative needs such as expense reporting, scheduling, and internal documentation
  • Identify and implement process improvements to keep the marketing team running smoothly

Required Qualifications:
  • 2-4 years of experience in a marketing, project coordination, or operations role-ideally within a fast-paced or startup environment
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with an ability to anticipate needs and follow through independently
  • Excellent communication skills-written, verbal, and interpersonal
  • High attention to detail, with a knack for keeping many moving pieces on track
  • Experience using marketing and collaboration tools (e.g., Asana, SharePoint, Outlook, Airtable, Later, Microsoft Teams)
  • A proactive, adaptable mindset-you thrive in ambiguity and are quick to step up where needed

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a creative, B2B, or tech-forward environment
  • Basic proficiency in content tools like Canva, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite
  • Event or campaign coordination experience (virtual or in-person)
  • Familiarity with file management and digital asset workflows
  • Research program documentation and report writing experience

Compensation & Benefits: Compensation level and base salary are competitively structured and thoughtfully determined based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, and the scope of the role.
  • Comprehensive health coverage: Medical, dental, and vision benefits, with 70% of premiums covered by the employer
  • Paid time off: Three (3) weeks per year of vacation
  • Retirement plan: Up to 4% employer match on 401(k) contributions
  • Paid holidays: 11 company-recognized holidays
  • Parental leave
  • Educational reimbursement opportunities to support company objectives, continued learning, and career development
