Are you a recent engineering graduate or an engineer with a few years of experience looking to build a career in manufacturing and reliability?
Join Arxada's Rochester site as a Reliability Engineer and gain hands-on experience supporting equipment reliability, maintenance strategies, and continuous improvement initiatives in a world-class chemical manufacturing environment.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of equipment reliability programs.
  • Assist in analyzing equipment performance data and identifying opportunities to improve reliability and efficiency.
  • Participate in root cause investigations related to equipment and process failures.
  • Help develop and maintain preventive maintenance strategies and asset maintenance plans.
  • Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Support reliability improvement projects and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Assist in maintaining engineering standards, equipment documentation, and spare parts information.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, reliability, and operational excellence.
  • Learn and apply reliability engineering principles, tools, and best practices with guidance from senior team members.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineer, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 0-3 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, reliability, or industrial operations (internships and co-op experiences are welcome).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical and operational data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Eagerness to learn, develop technical expertise, and build a career in reliability and maintenance engineering.

The expected salary range for this role is $74,000- $96,000 annual, but specific employee compensation may vary depending on factors including experience, education, training, licensure, certification, location and other job-related, non-discriminatory factors permitted by law.
This role is also eligible to earn a short-term incentive bonus and the following benefits: 401(k) plan, medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, paid time off, paid holidays and paid sick leave.
