Job Title:
Scientist I, Analytics & Metrology
Job Description:
Entegris is growing and is seeking an entry-level chemist to join the Analytical Services team in Chaska, MN! You will be supporting sample prep and analyses related to incoming quality control inspection, finished product testing and R&D projects.
What You'll Do:
  • Support laboratory operations including performing sample prep and analysis following established SOP's and safety protocols.

  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain analytical instrumentation specifically IC, but potentially to include GC and ICP, etc.

  • Analyze data and communicate results effectively.

  • Drive for continuous improvement of existing testing methods and procedures.

  • Continuous training on various analytical techniques and methods.

  • Maintain lab supplies and equipment and keep a clean and organized lab space. Properly handle samples for testing and chemical disposal.

What We Seek:
  • Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, or related field required.

  • General lab instrument (IC, GC, ICP) operations and maintenance experience a plus.

  • Knowledge of proper safe handling/disposal of chemicals.

  • Self-motivated with strong independent work skills.

  • Detail orientated with technical communication skills.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize as needed to meet deadlines.

Compensation: $63,000-$70,000 per year, range with actual pay dependent on candidate skillset.
