Position Overview

The Data Quality Program Manager supports the design, execution, and ongoing improvement of an enterprise data quality program. This role focuses on monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on data quality performance while partnering with business, governance and technical teams to identify issues, drive remediation, and improve trust in data used for decision-making.

The position blends strong analytical skills with program management discipline and clear communication to ensure data quality insights translate into meaningful business action.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
  • Support the planning and execution of data quality initiatives and improvement roadmaps.
  • Develop and maintain data quality dashboards, scorecards, and visualizations using Tableau or similar tools.
  • Analyze data to identify quality issues, patterns, trends, and root causes.
  • Perform data cleansing and validation, including handling missing values, outliers, and inconsistencies.
  • Partner with business and technical teams to translate business questions into data quality requirements.
  • Define, track, and report data quality metrics and KPIs aligned to business outcomes.
  • Support issue tracking, prioritization, and remediation efforts across data domains.
  • Prepare clear, concise insights and recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of reported data and insights.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of data quality processes, tools, and reporting standards.
 Qualifications

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in data quality, analytics, reporting, or program/project management.
  • Strong experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, Power Query, and data analysis techniques.
  • Working knowledge of SQL, including querying, aggregations, and performance considerations.
  • Experience performing data analysis and data cleansing to identify quality issues and trends.
  • Ability to communicate analytical findings clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in data quality, analytics, or data management roles. 
  • Experience building executive-level dashboards and scorecards.  
  • Experience translating business requirements into analytical and measurement frameworks.
  • Exposure to data quality management tools or platforms such as Informatica MDM and Atlan.
  • Experience supporting enterprise or cross-functional data quality programs.
  • Strong data-driven storytelling skills using charts, dashboards, and visual narratives.

Growth Path

This role provides a strong foundation for advancement within data quality, analytics, and data management functions. With demonstrated performance and expanded scope, this position may progress to:

  • Senior DQ Program Manager – leading enterprise-wide quality initiatives and defining measurement strategies.
  • Data Quality Lead or Manager – owning data quality frameworks, metrics, and improvement programs.
  • Analytics or Data Management Roles – expanding into broader analytics, data governance, or enterprise data strategy positions.

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
