Position Title: Training & Learning Strategies Project Coordinator
Location: Littleton Colorado

Position Status: Contract
Pay Rate: $55/HR ON W2
Position Description:
Seneca Resources is seeking a highly organized and proactive Training & Learning Strategies Project Coordinator to support enterprise learning and development initiatives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role serves as the central coordination point for training projects, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with budget and stakeholder expectations.
The ideal candidate brings strong project coordination experience, advanced Jira expertise, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting cross-functional teams. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in Agile environments, enjoys process optimization, and is passionate about operational excellence within learning and development programs.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and support multiple training and learning strategy initiatives from planning through execution and delivery.
  • Build, maintain, and optimize Jira project workspaces, dashboards, workflows, and reporting tools.
  • Track project timelines, milestones, deliverables, and dependencies to ensure successful project execution.
  • Manage project budgets, monitor Level of Effort (LOE) against approved budgets, and communicate budget variances proactively.
  • Prepare and document procurement requests, including cost justifications and supporting documentation.
  • Monitor team resource allocation, bandwidth capacity, and staffing forecasts for upcoming projects.
  • Facilitate communication across cross-functional teams, stakeholders, vendors, and procurement partners.
  • Support Agile project delivery practices, including Scrum or Kanban workflows.
  • Identify project risks, resolve issues proactively, and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, status updates, reporting, and change tracking.
  • Stay current on Jira platform enhancements, Agile best practices, and evolving procurement processes.
Required Skills/Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
  • 3+ years of project coordination or project management experience, ideally supporting learning & development, training operations, PMO, or technical program environments.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Advanced experience with Jira Software, including project configuration, dashboards, workflows, and JQL queries.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Project.
  • Experience supporting project budgeting, procurement coordination, resource planning, and reporting activities.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent project management certification.
  • Atlassian Certified Jira Administrator certification or similar credential.
  • Experience with risk management frameworks and change management processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage shifting priorities, complex team dynamics, and fast-changing project requirements.
  • Experience supporting enterprise learning programs, instructional design teams, or corporate training initiatives.
