Position Summary

The Trade Operations Program and Trade Data Manager is accountable for the strategy, execution, and governance of all Trade Operations automation and data programs, including design and implementation of dashboards, KPI frameworks, validation automations, system controls, and trade data oversight supporting Import, Export, and Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) operations. This role manages trade analytics resources and partners cross-functionally to ensure trade operations are data-driven, automated where possible, audit-ready, and aligned to compliance and business objectives.

The position sits within the Global Trade / Legal & Compliance organization and partners closely with Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Manufacturing, IT, and external service providers.

Key Responsibilities

Trade Data & Automation Program Ownership

  • Own the enterprise trade data strategy across Import, Export, and FTZ operations.
  • Establish and govern trade KPIs, metrics, scorecards, and executive dashboards.
  • Create a structured performance management cadence (weekly/monthly reporting, trend analysis, action tracking).
  • Ensure consistent data definitions, data quality standards, and reporting governance.

Automation & Systems Enablement

  • Lead the portfolio of trade automation initiatives including dashboards, validations, exception logic, and controls.
  • Identify automation opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve compliance and efficiency.
  • Translate trade requirements into system and validation logic in partnership with IT and external providers.
  • Own business requirements, UAT coordination, and post-deployment validation for trade-related system changes.

Trade Operations Analytics Oversight

  • Provide analytical oversight for Import, Export, and FTZ transactions.
  • Direct root-cause analysis for exceptions, errors, and systemic process gaps.
  • Guide FTZ analytics including admissions, inventory movements, consumption, and removals.
  • Support compliance monitoring, reconciliations, and risk-based trend analysis.

Controls, Audit Readiness & Documentation

  • Own analytics and automation components of audit readiness.
  • Ensure SOPs are up-to-date, create and maintain process flows, and metrics frameworks.
  • Support internal and external audits through data analysis, evidence packages, and reporting.

CTPAT Oversight

  • Provide data, KPI, and reporting oversight to support CTPAT governance.
  • Track corrective actions, metrics, and documentation supporting CTPAT readiness.

People Leadership & Team Development

  • Manage and develop the Trade Analytics team.
  • Set goals, priorities, clear expectations, accountability and development plans for team members.
  • Ensure timely, high-quality deliverables and effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Build strong partnerships across Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing, IT, Legal, Finance, and external vendors.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 7-12+ years of experience in global trade operations, analytics, automation, or program management.
  • Strong experience with dashboards, KPIs, and large data sets.
  • Demonstrated experience with trade systems, UAT, and automation initiatives.
  • Knowledge of Import, Export, and/or FTZ operations.
  • ERP experience (SAP S/4HANA preferred).
  • Advanced Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics tools.
  • Prior people management experience.
  • Exposure to CTPAT governance and compliance programs.

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
