Job description

Lead the Trauma Program. Strengthen the System. Change Lives.
At Logan Health, trauma care is more than what happens in the emergency department. It is a coordinated system that begins before a patient reaches the hospital and continues across the entire continuum of care.
We are looking for an experienced Trauma Program Manager, RN to lead and advance the Logan Health Medical Center Trauma Program. This is an opportunity for a clinically strong, highly organized nurse leader to make a meaningful impact on trauma care across our organization, our region, and the communities we serve.
In this role, you will bring together emergency services, trauma providers, nursing, EMS, quality and safety, education, and other multidisciplinary partners to strengthen trauma care, improve outcomes, and ensure our program meets the highest clinical, regulatory, and accreditation standards.
If you thrive in complex clinical environments, enjoy connecting people and systems, and are passionate about improving trauma care, we want to hear from you.
Our Mission: Quality, compassionate care for all.
Our Vision: Reimagine health care through connection, service and innovation.
Our Core Values: Be Kind | Trust and Be Trusted | Work Together | Strive for Excellence.
What You'll Do
As the Trauma Program Manager, you will provide clinical and program leadership for the Logan Health Medical Center Trauma Program while supporting trauma services across the Logan Health system.

  • Serve as a trusted clinical resource and organizational liaison for trauma care, representing the program with leadership, providers, staff, and community partners.
  • Oversee the Trauma Injury Prevention Program, collaborating with the Injury Prevention Coordinator and community stakeholders to develop and implement an annual prevention plan.
  • Analyze operational, clinical, and benchmarking data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Participate in case reviews, audits, quality initiatives, and program evaluation to ensure the highest standards of trauma care.
  • Develop and support clinical protocols, practice guidelines, policies, and processes that promote consistent, evidence-based trauma care.
  • Partner with EMS leaders and agencies to strengthen prehospital trauma care, education, and communication.
  • Participate in emergency preparedness planning and system-level initiatives that support organizational readiness.
  • Collaborate with community, regional, and state partners in the continued development of trauma care systems.
  • Support education and professional development for clinicians and other healthcare professionals involved in trauma care.
  • Promote a culture grounded in patient safety, transparency, human factors, just culture, and continuous improvement.

Why This Role Matters
Trauma care is a team sport.
The Trauma Program Manager sits at the center of that team-connecting clinical practice, data, quality improvement, EMS, education, physicians, nursing, leadership, and community partners.
