Support the Supervisor in the management of health and safety, quality of work and employee coaching Support the Shipping/Receiving department.Tracking and record keeping for employee related matters Attendance and productivity monitoring and reporting.

Please note, this is a full time position is the night shift 11pm-7am, requiring availability to work weekends

Here's where you'll be focusing:
  • Make real-time decisions using a Warehouse Management System to allocate work and staff in the most effective manner

  • Seek improvements to optimize performance and productivity

  • Participate in training non-unionized employees on MHE, selection methods and health and safety 

  • Management of attendance and overtime calls for warehouse employees 

  • Track and submit daily hours to the payroll administrator 

  • Perform daily inventory of pallets 

  • KPI tracking and reporting progress 

  • Conduct SUMO follow-ups (i.e. tracking of absenteeism) 

  • Track and monitor equipment such as Vocollect 

  • Assign the assembly sector to each employee according to seniority 

  • Pull begin day and end day reports 

  • Ensure the replenishment of supplies when cases are missing for assembly 

  • Generate Shipper/Receiver reports 

  • Track and document performance

  • Provide support and coverage to shipping/receiving and admin 

  • Perform administrative tasks such as disciplinary write-ups and database entries 

  • Conduct injury/accident investigations, reporting, and follow-up with employees

What you have to offer:
  • College diploma plus two (2) years' experience in distribution or personnel management (any other combination of education and experience deemed equivalent will be considered) 

  • Proficiency with the various computer tools related to operations 

  • Strongly encourages proper monitoring and has a strong sense of responsibility

  • Manages time and priorities effectively and maintains composure in stressful situations
