Mack Molding is looking to fill a Account/Program Manager in our sales and engineering group located in Statesville, NC.

Essential Responsibilities.

Obtaining all required customer documentation, specifications, etc. and communicating to the organization..

Program introduction to the organization through cross-functional teams..

Act as the customer liaison and will manage the timeline of any developmental activitiesrequired for the program with the customer..

Ensuring any Engineering Work Orders (EWOs) and Shop Orders are initiated as required..

Management of the cost model ("estimate") for products in conjunction with the S & E Director..

Responsible for all ongoing commercial and relationship aspects of customer account(s)..

Responsible for the ongoing demand management data supplied by customers for planning purposes..

Management of warranty agreements and claims related to those agreements..

Responsible for customer asset management through the life of the program..

Maintain customer satisfaction by effective coordination of the activities of customer service,engineering, project management, plant operation, quality and finance to best serve customer needs..

Develop and expand current business within assigned accounts by developing relationships andexpanding Mack's participation in molding, painting, assembly, and contract mfg. opportunities..

Sell and develop new tooling and programs at profitable levels..

Follow up and assist in part cost analysis and cost reduction opportunities to improve jobprofitability and customer initiatives..

Assist Customer Service with part pricing needs as well as other customer concerns..

Maintain ISO compliance through the use and understanding of Mack ISO policies and procedures..

Follow all Safety rules and regulations and maintain Mack standard of housekeeping..

Perform other duties as necessitated by change or condition as assigned by Supervisor..

Act as Customer Representative to ensure that customer requirements are addressed..

Responsible for maintaining Determination of Requirements Related to Product Process.

Job Qualifications/License/Education/Required Experience.

Bachelor's degree in engineering, business management, or a related technical area.

Advanceddegree is a strong plus.

.Working knowledge of injection molding tooling and tool building practices and injection moldingprocesses including secondary processes and equipment..

Possess a working knowledge of plastic materials, properties, usages and limitations..

Capability to review, CAD models, drawings, and other part presentation data..

Good knowledge of Microsoft office..

Strong organizational skills, with a "can do" approach to project and people management..

Minimum of 5 years in management, with specific strengths in sales, engineering, project management,or general management associated with the plastics industry.

Unusual Working Conditions.

Exposure in-plant to temperatures between 50F and 110F and plant odors from plastic and paintprocessing..

Travel as necessary per business requirements.

Unusual Physical Requirements.

Ability to lift up to 30 lbs as required [when necessary]..

Ability to bend, walk and/or stand for prolonged periods of time.
