Job description

At Amazon, we strive to be Earth's most customer-centric company, where people can find and discover anything they want to buy online. We hire the world's brightest minds and give them an environment where they can relentlessly improve the customer experience. Every day, we solve complex technical and business problems with ingenuity and simplicity.
Amazon is seeking a motivated, hands-on IT Operations Lead to support day-to-day operations within our IT Warehouse in Vancouver

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning daily execution, solving operational problems, supporting frontline teams, and improving how work gets done. The Operations Support position will help coordinate laptop and IT equipment workflows, monitor operational health, resolve blockers, support escalations, and ensure that service levels and customer expectations are met.
While this role will support projects and process improvement initiatives, the primary focus is leading day-to-day operations

Key job responsibilities
- Lead and support daily IT asset operations, including laptop replenishment, inventory movement, order flow, and issue resolution.
- Monitor operational queues, service levels, aging work, and customer-impacting blockers.
- Partner with warehouse associates, IT teams, operations leaders, and supply chain partners to ensure work is completed accurately and on time.
- Act as an escalation point for operational issues related to asset availability, fulfillment, process gaps, or system constraints.
- Use data and metrics to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Support process improvements that reduce defects, improve throughput, and create a better employee experience.
- Help document, standardize, and improve operational procedures.
- Coordinate small to medium-sized initiatives that improve daily operations, inventory accuracy, asset readiness, or service delivery.
- Communicate status, risks, and updates clearly to stakeholders and leadership.
- Support a flexible operations environment where priorities can shift quickly based on customer and business needs.
About the team
Our team supports IT logistics and asset readiness for employees and IT offices across multiple locations. We believe no job is too small and no challenge is too large

We look for people who are flexible, curious, and willing to dive deep to understand how things work.
This is a hands-on operational environment. Success in this role requires ownership, attention to detail, good judgment, and the ability to work across teams to remove blockers and improve outcomes.
