In this broad operations role, you will support People Operations, Talent, Business Operations, facilities management, external partnerships, and R&D needs.

It is critical that you build trusted relationships quickly, communicate thoughtfully, and are equally comfortable solving day-to-day challenges and improving the processes behind them. Most importantly, you are motivated by mission-oriented goals, collaboration, and creating an environment that enables success across the various functions and the enterprise .
This position is based in Cambridge, MA (Kendall Square) and is expected to maintain a strong onsite presence.
Key Responsibilities

  • Support employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding and offboarding, while enabling recruiting operations through interview coordination, ATS administration, candidate experience, and consistent hiring practices.
  • Assist with the administration of key People Operations programs, including performance review cycles, employee communications, handbook management, and policy implementation.
  • Cultivate a collaborative, inclusive, and engaging culture through team events, offsites, recognition programs, and initiatives that strengthen employee connection, belonging, and engagement across the organization.

  • Facilitate company meetings and support cross-functional activities to help drive accountability, execution, and progress against company priorities.
  • Track operational spending across people, programs, software, vendors, travel, and other G&A activities, improving visibility and reporting to support company planning and decision-making.

Facilities, IT & Lab Operations Support
  • Manage relationships with key partners, including facilities management, IT, and other service vendors, while identifying opportunities to improve workflows, services, and efficiency.
  • Oversee software administration, employee technology needs, workspace logistics, and operational onboarding/offboarding activities.
  • Partner with scientific teams to coordinate laboratory support activities, including equipment maintenance, vendor scheduling, asset tracking, and equipment documentation.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Business, Human Resources, Communications, Operations, Life Sciences, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in operations, people operations, business administration, project coordination, office operations, or a related function, preferably within a startup, biotechnology, or life sciences environment.
  • Curious, adaptable, and eager to learn, with a willingness to take on new challenges and expand responsibilities as the organization grows.
  • Thoughtful and solutions-oriented, with the judgment to navigate ambiguity, balance competing needs, and identify when issues should be escalated.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, maintain attention to detail, and consistently follow through on commitments.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a natural ability to build trust, develop relationships, and work effectively across diverse teams and personalities.
