Job description

Job Title: Production Operator Location: Orangeburg, NY Type: Contract Compensation: $21.00 to $23.00 Hours: Monday-Friday; 6:00am-2:30pm Responsibilities

  • Maintain all production areas in a clean and orderly manner consistent with Good Manufacturing Practices
  • Perform repairs and maintenance of facilities, wells, production equipment, and safety equipment
  • Ensure continuous operation of production platforms
  • Maintain accurate production reports, test safety and environmental equipment, and document activities
  • Possess basic machinery/system troubleshooting skills and knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems
  • Understand planning and scheduling techniques related to asset care management
  • Maintain production standards and targets, identify areas for process improvement
  • Document production activities by completing forms, reports, logs, and records of equipment and batches
  • Complete all duties safely, adhering to company safety policies
  • Maintain quality standards and production pace
Requirements
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least 6 months of production experience (must have)
  • Experience working on a production line
  • Experience in a GMP/SOP environment
  • Ability to read and follow procedures; experience with GMP, FDA, SOP, Batch Records, and ISO is strongly preferred
  • Add candidate responses regarding GMP, FDA, SOP, Batch Records, and ISO experience when presenting candidates
  • Ability to communicate why they left previous employment
  • Basic troubleshooting skills and familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems
  • Strong attention to detail in completing records, reports, and documentation
