Job description

Your Opportunity

At Schwab, youโ€™re empowered to make an impact on your career. Here, innovative thought meets creative problem solving, helping us โ€œchallenge the status quoโ€ and transform the finance industry together.

The Data-Driven Communications (DDC) team oversees four successful programs to achieve Schwabโ€™s marketing goals: Marketing Automation, Lead Management, Connected Experiences, and Marketing Data Management, each of which supports several lines of business across the firm, including both Retail and Institutional. Each program provides multiple capabilities such as Lead Capture, Campaign Enablement, Preference Management, and Data Mapping. DDC also manages several platforms that deliver these programs, all with the primary aim of enabling customer connections and providing effective solutions built on data, technology, and team expertise.

As a Marketing Operations Process Manager in DDC, you will play a key role in evaluating, designing, monitoring, maintaining, and reporting on marketing operationsโ€™ processes to maximize efficiency while mitigating risk. This includes reviewing existing processes on a defined schedule to validate, optimize, and/or retire, as appropriate, serving as the primary contact for process-supporting applications, and identifying opportunities to build consistency across operational processes, documenting processes, and communicating key information on a regular cadence. This role also manages operational reporting and artifacts (e.g., resource allocation and forecasting, volume reporting, Executive Summaries/detailed reports for respective audiences, etc.).

What you have

To ensure that we fulfill our promise of โ€œchallenging the status quo,โ€ this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.

Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree.
  • 3+ years of experience in a marketing operations, reporting, and/or process manager role.
  • Experience with process-supporting applications, such as Workfront, or similar workflow management system.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Successful track record of partnering with multiple teams to develop processes.
  • Strong business analysis skills with an ability to understand and build metrics, analyze data for insights, and optimize based on learnings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfort level challenging the status quo and pressure-testing assumptions.
  • Passion for digging into operational performance metrics and communicating them to various audiences.
  • Comfortable designing and providing documentation for both team members and partners requesting support from DDC.
