Job description

About IDIS Americas
IDIS Americas Company is headquartered in Coppell, TX, designs, develops, manufactures, and distributes a full range of products for the video surveillance and machine vision markets.
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee our warehouse, production planning, inventory operations, repair operations, and ERP production processes. This role is responsible for ensuring products are configured, scheduled, built, and shipped efficiently while maintaining accurate inventory and supporting our supply chain operations.
This is not a traditional manufacturing position. Our operation focuses on configuring electronic security products, managing inventory, coordinating production activities, and supporting distribution through disciplined operational processes and effective use of NetSuite and RF-SMART.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working in ERP systems, and enjoys improving operational processes while leading a small, cross-functional team. This is a hands-on working manager role. The successful candidate will lead the operation while actively participating in production planning, inventory control, ERP transactions, and continuous process improvement.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Manage Warehouse, Production, and Repair Operations.
  • Develop daily and weekly production schedules based on customer demand and inventory availability.
  • Create, release, and manage production work orders in NetSuite.
  • Maintain manufacturing routings, bills of materials, and product configurations within NetSuite.
  • Coordinate closely with Demand Planning to proactively address product shortages and changing priorities.
  • Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory reconciliation using RF-SMART and NetSuite.
  • Administer the annual physical inventory process, including scheduling, count verification, and inventory transaction oversight.
  • Manage HQ-owned consignment inventory and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Monitor inventory levels and work with purchasing and planning teams to ensure product availability.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency while maintaining inventory accuracy and production flexibility.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for operational processes.
  • Lead and develop warehouse, production, and repair personnel while promoting accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in operations, warehouse management, production planning, supply chain, or inventory management.
  • Experience using ERP systems, preferably NetSuite.
  • Experience with inventory control and cycle counting.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with RF-SMART or similar warehouse management systems.
  • Experience in electronics distribution, systems integration, or light manufacturing.
  • Experience maintaining ERP routings, BOMs, or product configurations.
  • Experience leading small operational teams.
