Job description

Under the leadership of the Vice President of Patient Care Services and the Director of Nursing Performance Improvement, Nursing Performance Manager will assist in strengthening the department’s hospital wide quality outcomes, reporting, and improvement initiatives. The Nursing Performance Improvement Manager is responsible for data collection, analysis, display, interpretation, and reporting to a wide range of clinical, administrative, and executive leaders. S/he will provide leadership, management, and facilitation for assigned clinical programs. The Nursing Performance Improvement Manager must be able to coordinate programs and improvement activities independently across multiple operational departments concurrently and services as a highly visible, energetic champion of quality throughout the organization. Extensive daily interaction with staff and leadership throughout Bronxcare a key component of this role.


The nurse manager is responsible 24/7 for quality and safety of outcomes of their assigned unit.  The Patient Care Manager facilitates employee and patient satisfaction through professional oversight.


Bachelor's Required, Master's Preferred. 

New York RN License - Current Registration

Five years of experience in acute care nursing with a preference of two years as charge, preceptor, educator or assistant nurse care coordinator.

BCLS and pertinent clinical experience and /or training for specialty area
