Design Operations Officer, Mid
The Opportunity:
To grow effectively, organizations need help looking at their operation from the outside. Whether restructuring or improving operation support processes, our clients need a Design Operations Officer who will take the time to learn the complexities of their mission and provide them with tangible advice on business process improvements, mission success, and standard methodologies. That's why we need you, an experienced Design Operations Officer with strong management skills and experience who knows how to analyze every aspect of the client's operations and help the organization improve its quality of support and services to their customers.
As a Design Operations Officer on our team, you'll support the client's day-to-day operations and oversee the team's support to their assigned customer. You'll be a dedicated general management specialist who identifies and prioritizes pain points and opportunities for better efficiency, effectiveness, collaboration, and alignment across many teams and individuals. You'll have an operation management or design background, connect with and listen to customers and design team members to understand where gaps and hurdles exist in the design process, and design, implement, and iterate upon solutions.

You Have:
  • 3+ years of experience managing project schedules or office operations
  • Experience identifying and prioritizing opportunities across the intelligence analysis and design organization to become more collaborative, unified, efficient, and effective
  • Ability to develop, benchmark, analyze, and track key design metrics
  • Ability to conduct internal research to understand evolving design team challenge and efficacy of implemented efforts
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience building trust with others to identify team challenges and provide constructive feedback
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Creative suite, and SharePoint
  • Ability to drive collaboration among teams and stakeholders
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment independently or in a group setting

  • Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
