Job description

Accurate Overhead Doors is seeking an experienced and well-diverse Garage Door Operations Manager to join our team.

As the Operations Manager you will not only be responsible for forming a robust team of technicians and installers, you will also become the face of the company. Your expertise and leadership skills will be crucial in driving the company's overall success by guiding and inspiring your team on-site, collaborating and ensuring projects are executed efficiently.
In the office, your responsibilities will shift by utilizing your expertise, preparing detailed sales quotes and providing expert knowledge to a diverse customer base. Your ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships will not only be crucial in assisting clients to make informed decisions but will also play a pivotal role in bridging the field and office, ensuring a seamless operation.

REQUIREMENTS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Proven managerial/leadership experience as a garage door technician/installer
  • The ability to lead and inspire a team to achieve company goals

  • Committed to providing the best possible customer service at all times
  • Must demonstrate exceptional adaptability and versatility, seamlessly transitioning between field and office environments
  • Ability to work independently as well as support other team members effectively
  • Install residential and commercial garage doors and openers, including all associated components (tracks, springs, cables, etc.) according to manufacturer specifications
  • Perform routine maintenance services including lubrication, adjustments, and inspections to ensure proper function and safety
  • Troubleshoot and repair garage doors and openers, addressing issues such as broken springs, damaged panels, faulty openers, misaligned tracks, and other mechanical failures
  • Provide excellent customer service by explaining issues, presenting solutions, and answering any questions the customer may have
  • Ensure supporting staff follows safety protocols and local building codes during installations and repairs
  • Provide job estimates
  • Ensure customers are satisfied with completed work by supporting staff
  • Experience in sales. (Not required but very helpful)
  • Ensure inventory is stocked and organized
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, estimating software (Not required but helpful)
  • Valid driver’s license/reliable vehicle and clean driving record
