Operations Manager - Behavioral Health & Recovery Services
Location: TPC Wellness
Job Type: Full-Time

Join Our Team
TPC Wellness is seeking a dedicated, organized, and compassionate Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our behavioral health and recovery housing programs. This leadership role is responsible for supervising operations staff, ensuring the safety and security of individuals served, maintaining program quality, and fostering a culture of accountability, recovery, and professionalism.

Essential Responsibilities
Leadership & Supervision
  • Supervise Recovery Support Specialists, House Monitors, and Operations Supervisors.
  • Manage personnel issues, coaching, corrective action, and performance evaluations.
  • Assign daily responsibilities and oversee staff scheduling.
  • Conduct new employee orientation and training.
  • Participate in employee disciplinary investigations.
  • Maintain operational documents, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure staff maintain annual training requirements.

Program Operations
  • Oversee daily programming, structured activities, behavioral management systems, and community outings.
  • Coordinate admissions, discharges, and resident transportation.
  • Conduct resident orientation and ensure understanding of program expectations.
  • Facilitate and oversee weekly house meetings.
  • Meet with residents regularly to review and document recovery plans.
  • Monitor residents for relapse warning signs and coordinate appropriate support.
  • Assist with resident grievances and requests.

Safety & Compliance
  • Ensure the safety and security of all individuals served.
  • Conduct routine facility safety inspections.
  • Perform facility, resident, and property searches following agency policy.
  • Conduct urine drug screen collections and testing.
  • Respond to incidents, complete required documentation, and communicate findings through the chain of command.
  • Maintain accurate resident counts and daily operational logs.
  • Ensure compliance with the Code of Conduct and maintain a substance-free environment.
  • Respond professionally to community and neighborhood concerns.

Administrative Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review shift reports, incident reports, medical reports, and other operational documentation.
  • Coordinate transportation and appointments with internal departments.
  • Process resident mail, requests, and personal property.
  • Maintain cleanliness and operational readiness of the facility.
  • Offer on call support when needed.

Qualifications
Required
  • Associate's degree in human services, Behavioral Health, Criminal Justice, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Active CDCA (Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant) credential.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
  • Minimum of 3 years of management or supervisory experience.

Preferred
  • Experience supervising staff in a residential or behavioral health setting.
