Northline Roofing is a rapidly growing residential roofing company based in South Charlotte, just outside of the South End area, focused on delivering high-quality workmanship and a consistently professional customer experience.


As the organization continues to expand, we are seeking a  Field Operations Manager to lead the field side of the business and ensure that every project is executed with discipline, efficiency, and accountability.


This role is responsible for the operational performance of the company’s field operations, including production, repairs, warranty service, fleet management, scheduling coordination, and safety compliance.


The Field Operations Manger will play a a critical leadership role in ensuring that projects are completed on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining a strong culture of professionalism and operational excellence.

This position reports directly to the Director Of Operations and will work closely with the leadership team to strengthen the operational foundation of the company as it continues to grow.

Northline is building a systems-driven organization designed to scale responsibly while maintaining a high standard of service and craftsmanship. This role will help shape the operational structure that supports that long-term growth.


Responsibilities

Field Operations Leadership

Lead and oversee the full execution of field operations, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and to company standards.

Responsibilities include:

• Overseeing project managers responsible for installation execution
• Ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget
• Maintaining consistent quality standards across all installations
• Coordinating material logistics and job readiness


Scheduling & Production Coordination

Provide leadership to the Scheduling Coordinator responsible for production scheduling and crew coordination.

• Ensure alignment between crews, supervisors, materials, and job schedules
• Maintain efficient production flow and crew utilization
• Address scheduling conflicts and operational bottlenecks


Repairs & Warranty Service

Oversee the company’s repair technicians and warranty operations.

• Ensure timely resolution of repair requests and warranty claims
• Monitor service quality and customer satisfaction
• Track warranty trends and identify opportunities for operational improvement


Fleet Management

Maintain oversight of the company’s vehicle fleet and field equipment.

• Ensure preventative maintenance schedules are followed
• Maintain vehicle standards and operational readiness
• Coordinate fleet insurance and incident reporting procedures


Safety & Compliance

Promote and enforce a culture of safety across all field operations.

• Ensure compliance with OSHA and jobsite safety standards
• Implement safety procedures and training programs
• Manage incident reporting and corrective action processes


Operational Systems

Develop and maintain systems that support consistent field execution.

• Establish clear processes for production, service, and warranty work
• Track operational performance metrics
• Identify and implement improvements to operational efficiency


Leadership Scope

The Director of Field Operations oversees and develops the following functions:

• Company Fleet

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in home services
