Job Description
Job Title: Project Manager II
Location: Waltham, MA
Duration: 6+ Months
Job Duties:
Responsible for planning and managing a project to successful completion, within the established deadline and within the budget Possess excellent management skills to coordinate with the entire team, the clients and stakeholders Ability to work in a global environment - potential for off-hour meetings as needed Strong negotiation skills Facilitate team meetings effectively Create and execute project schedules and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirement Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope Clear understanding of IS methodologies and effectively apply Sanofi methodology and enforce project standards Prepare for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures Minimize exposure and risk on project Ensure project documents are complete, reviewed, approved and stored appropriately using Sanofi standard tools Hold regular status meetings with project team Keep project team well informed of changes within the project Effectively communicate relevant project information to project stakeholders Deliver engaging, informative, well-organized presentations Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion Manage project budgets Track and report team hours and expenses Ensure timely and accurate invoicing, and monitor receivables for project Follow up with vendors, when necessary, regarding invoices and payments Analyze project bill rates and resource utilization Potential international travel (to the EU) possible
Required Skills:
Understanding and prior experience with managing cross functional and cross regional/ country projects in IT Pharma Research setting Possess good understanding of application programming, database and system design Superior communication skills Significant business analysis skills and ability to translate business requirements to IS deliverables Proficient writing capabilities Ability to adopt Sanofi project methodology standards and document deliverables Demonstrable competency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project), Adobe & Visio Technical background a plus Displays a positive attitude and works as a team player Demonstrates flexibility in day-to-day work Identifies opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change Manages change effectively Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully Mitigate team conflict and communication problems

• BS Degree in related field and/or PMP certification.
• Minimum 10 years of Project Management experience.
