Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Operations Manager to support operational excellence within our Project & Development Services team. This role requires a process-focused professional who can implement and optimize project delivery frameworks for large-scale capital projects exceeding $500M in budget. The successful candidate will have strong expertise in capital project structuring, leveraging existing JLL tools and templates, and utilizing technology to drive efficiency. This position will ensure our project teams consistently deliver high-quality, client-ready deliverables while maintaining compliance with JLL standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Process Implementation & Documentation

  • Implement established project delivery processes and adapt them to specific client requirements and project contexts
  • Maintain and update process documentation including workflows, templates, checklists, and standard operating procedures
  • Ensure all client-facing deliverables are professional, accurate, and aligned with JLL brand standards
  • Create clear process guides that enable project teams to navigate approval requirements and governance structures
  • Establish quality control checkpoints throughout project phases to ensure consistency and excellence
  • Knowledge of principal project delivery, contract management, and risk considerations

Technology Optimization & Tool Management

  • Leverage existing JLL technology platforms, project management tools, and reporting systems to maximize efficiency
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve data accuracy through technology solutions
  • Maintain proficiency in JLL's standard tools and templates, ensuring proper application across all project deliverables
  • Recommend technology enhancements or new tools that could improve project delivery and team productivity
  • Support implementation of digital solutions that enhance client experience and operational transparency

Template & Deliverable Management

  • Utilize and customize JLL's library of templates, forms, and client deliverables for specific project needs
  • Ensure all project documentation meets JLL quality standards and reflects professional brand presentation
  • Develop supplementary templates or tools as needed to address unique project or client requirements
  • Maintain version control and organize document repositories for easy team access and collaboration
  • Review client-facing materials for accuracy, completeness, and professional presentation before distribution

Team Performance Management

  • Monitor process effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement based on team feedback and project outcomes
  • Establish protocols for data management and enforce rules amongst a team of project management professionals
  • Participate in lessons learned sessions and help translate insights into actionable process enhancements
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure process adoption and operational effectiveness

Team Collaboration & Support

  • Partner with project managers to provide operational support and process guidance throughout project lifecycles
  • Support onboarding of new team members on operational protocols, tools, and JLL standards
  • Collaborate with JLL PDS leadership to align operational activities with strategic objectives and client expectations
  • Coordinate with JLL functional teams including Finance, Risk Management, Legal, and Quality Assurance

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
  • 7-10 years of experience in project management, operations, or project controls roles within corporate real estate, construction, or professional services
  • Demonstrated experience structuring and managing large-scale capital projects with budgets exceeding $50M
  • Strong proficiency with project management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and data analysis platforms
  • Proven ability to create professional, client-ready deliverables using established templates and brand standards
  • Technology-focused mindset with track record of leveraging tools to improve efficiency and outcomes
  • Solid understanding of construction delivery methods, industry practices, and capital project fundamentals
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

Estimated compensation for this position:

128,000.00 - 186,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
