OPERATIONAL TRADE MARKETING INTERN

TORONTO, ON

We’re looking for a beauty-passionate OTM Intern to join the Canadian team. This role offers meaningful “hands on” work experience in a highly dynamic environment. Trade Marketing is a strategic pillar of the organization that acts as a 2-way stream of information: flowing the brand information to Sales teams and flowing the customer and local information to Marketing teams.

This role reports to the Operational Trade Marketing & CMI Team Lead and works directly with multiple teams within the organization as: Sales, Marketing, Category Management, Finance and Supply Chain.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

In this role you will be exposed to wide range of sales and marketing activities and cross- functional teams. You will primarily be responsible for:

 

Your main focus:

 

  • Owner and Leader of National Display strategy end to end
  • Development of display strategy with Marketing partners
  • Owner of display alignment and approvals from all levels
  • Ownership of all changes to the plan and rolling up for National/Account reporting
  • Regular promo review with NAMS on all accounts
  • Owner of National Sales Release meetings

Essential:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree (Business, Marketing, Economics, Sales)
  • 1-3 years of Marketing or Sales experience, must be able to demonstrate outstanding sales skills and potential
  • Passion for beauty industry
  • Solid financial and business acumen required
  • Proficiency with PC applications MS Excel & PowerPoint
