24/7 Travel Stores is growing in Hays!
We're looking for a motivated General Manager in Training to prepare for future leadership opportunities within our growing company.
24/7 Travel Stores already has an established presence in Hays, and we're excited to continue growing in the community with the development of a new, larger 24/7 Travel Store.

Essential Job Functions
1. Learn and Lead Store Operations
Develop a strong understanding of store operations while taking increasing responsibility for customer service, safety, and overall store performance.
2. Lead and Develop Store Teams
Learn to effectively lead, coach, develop, and hold employees accountable while creating a positive, customer-focused work environment.
3. Drive Store Performance
Learn to manage sales, labor, expenses, inventory, merchandising, food service, cash controls, and profitability.
4. Maintain Operational and Compliance Standards
Ensure company policies, safety requirements, loss prevention practices, and operational standards are consistently followed.
5. Support New Store and Company Growth
Participate in new-store preparation, team development, training, merchandising, inventory setup, operational readiness, and other company growth initiatives as needed.
6. Perform Other Duties as Assigned
Support store operations, management development, and company business needs as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Previous leadership or management experience in retail, convenience stores, restaurants, hospitality, or a similar fast-paced environment preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to understand and manage sales, labor, inventory, expenses, and store profitability.
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable taking ownership.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • Ability and willingness to travel for training and future management assignments.

Training & Future Opportunities
The selected candidate will initially work and train at our Hays, Russell, and WaKeeney 24/7 Travel Store locations. Regular travel will be required during the training period.
As development of the new Hays 24/7 Travel Store progresses, the General Manager in Training may participate in pre-opening preparation, team development, training, merchandising, inventory preparation, and operational setup.
Successful completion of the General Manager in Training program may lead to placement as a General Manager at our future Hays 24/7 Travel Store or another 24/7 Travel Store location, based on performance, readiness, available opportunities, and company needs.
