Job description

Job Title: Restaurant Manager I
Department: Operations
Reports To: Unit General Manager
Status: Non-Exempt
Date: December 2024
Salary:
Broad Responsibilities: Support the Unit General Manager in overseeing operations business by helping deliver exceptional results, reinforcing a great culture, and maintaining strong client relationships. Assist in achieving financial, operational, and guest service objectives while promoting a best-in-class work environment. Ensure proper training and supervision of all personnel during assigned shifts to deliver prompt, courteous service in a manner that complies with Food and Beverage standards and company policies and procedures.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
  1. Understand completely all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs for the concept.
  2. Check quality standards upon delivery of food and beverage deliveries.
  3. Assist in the ordering of concept supplies including food, beverage, smallware, chemicals and paper products.
  4. Resolve customer complaints about food quality or service through company standards.
  5. Maintain sanitation standards. Monitor actions of staff and customers to ensure that health and safety standards and liquor regulations (where applicable) are followed in adherence to state and local guidelines.
  6. Follow proper record keeping adhering to Areas standards
  7. Assists in the Preparation of all required paperwork, including forms, reports, and schedules in an organized and timely manner.
  8. Processing of invoices through the proper systems
  9. Arrange for maintenance and repair of equipment and other services (as needed)
  10. Maintain opening and closing procedures and security standards.
  11. Advises concept manager to the performance of associates.
  12. Ensure all employees are following the company dress code guidelines.
  13. Monitor food preparation and methods to ensure compliance with brand and company specification and standards.
  14. Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Skills and Qualifications
  1. Minimum High School Diploma, some college preferred.
  2. 1-2 years restaurant management experience.
  3. Excellent communication skills.
  4. Strong organizational skills
  5. Strong customer service skills
  6. Must be able to adapt to a diverse workforce.
  7. Ability to assist leadership team in reaching organizational objectives and goals.
  8. Basic understanding of P&L goals for the location including labor, sales, and COG.
