Job description

Senior Project Manager I, IPCM (Remote)

Full time, United States

The CSS IPCM Senior Project Manager is responsible for delivering different types of projects or programs involving (but not limited to) customer implementations and changes as well as agency projects, internal product implementations, and core business process changes.

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for delivering projects or programs with a medium to high complexity, which is measured by the scale and scope of the request. Complexity can be the number of countries or the complexity of the customer or product. Complexity is determined by the IPCM Management team when assigning the request based on the information gathered from the vetting.

As a Senior Project Manager I, IPCM, you will

  • Plan projects according to the defined scope
  • Leverage regional and local resources and resources from the different departments and functions to support projects
  • Be accountable for local, regional, and global project coordination with a broad scope of multi-national countries
  • Be in control of the utilization of established and proven project management methodology, tools and processes (PMP, OPPM, Prince2, Six Sigma) to scope, plan, analyze, initiate, execute, monitor, and control projects
  • Facilitate effective and constant communication with all project participants (internal/external)
  • Facilitate and drive decision-making and escalation concerning the projects assigned

About you

  • Previous travel industry experience
  • Prior experience in a qualified project management role and with project management software
  • Proven success in leading medium-complexity projects in travel management operations
  • Ability to facilitate and resolve risks, issues, and showstoppers
  • Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Must have good communication skills (written and oral) in English
