Job description

SUMMARY OF POSITION: The General Manager is accountable for the management and operations ofthe restaurant, ensuring that team members are hospitality focused, peoplefocused and are performing their job duties and meeting expectations in allareas of their job description. TheGeneral Manager reports to the District Manager for the area and supervisesAssistant Managers, Shift Leaders and Team Members. The General Manageroperates the restaurant consistent with and supportive of the business plan setforth for their restaurant, while displaying the Capstone Restaurant Groupvalues: People, Hospitality and Integrity.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Recruit and hirestaff, as well as to maintain a bench for future growth.

Ensure allmarketing plans are executed, including proper installation of POP and menuboard elements.

Ensure restaurantis staffed properly and Team Members are properly trained to do their jobsthrough effective use of training programs.

Provide leadershipby creating excitement, enthusiasm, a positive mental attitude and commitmentto company objectives.

Insure thatcorrect inventory levels and all equipment is maintained in excellent conditionthrough the use of approved vendors.

Set an example bymaintaining an excellent working knowledge and high level of proficiency in theperformance of all phases of restaurant operations and technology.

Supervise inaccordance with established performance and operating policies as set out inthe operations standards manual.

Work with andmotivate Assistant Managers, Shift Leaders and Crew Members to perform up totheir highest possible level of ability.

Review preliminaryP/L's and forward all questions to your District Manager.

Recognize andadhere to all HR, sanitation, safety and security policies and procedures toprovide a safe and compliant environment for all.

REQUIREMENTS:

Stand for longperiods of time.

Work around hightemperatures.

Work around othersin close quarters.

Able to lift 50pounds comfortably.

Work with variouscleaning products.

Perform job atcontinuous high pace, under pressure, while maintaining quality and speedstandards.

EXPERIENCE:

3-5 yearsmanagement experience in a quick service dining concept.

Financial/Analyticalaptitude including planning, budgeting, scheduling and P&L management.

KNOWLEDGE,SKILLS AND ABILITY:

Valid driver'slicense

Excellentcommunication, interpersonal and leadership skills.

Ability to operateand use all equipment necessary to run the restaurant.

Ability toeffectively make decisions under pressure, while.
