Front of House Service Manager – Casual Italian Dining & Event Space

Location: Downtown Detroit, Michigan

Position Type: Full-Time


We’re looking for an energetic and hospitality-driven Restaurant Manager to focus on Front of House Service. Join our downtown Detroit casual Italian restaurant and event venue. This role is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys guest interaction, thrives in a fast-paced social atmosphere, and leads by example on the floor.


Our restaurant combines approachable Italian cuisine, lively service, and private events in a fun, team-oriented environment. We’re seeking a manager who loves being visible in the dining room, connecting with guests, and creating memorable experiences.


Responsibilities

  • Lead daily front of house operations including dining room, bar, and event service
  • Engage with guests throughout service by touching tables and ensuring exceptional hospitality
  • Support and motivate servers, hosts, bartenders, and support staff
  • Maintain a positive, upbeat atmosphere for both guests and team members
  • Assist with scheduling, staffing, training, and shift management
  • Coordinate with kitchen and event teams to ensure smooth service execution
  • Handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently
  • Help maintain cleanliness, organization, and service standards
  • Support private events and special functions as needed
