Overview
Environmental Services/Housekeeping plays an integral role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of Huntsville Hospital through a variety of positions, teams, and shifts. We provide 24/7 cleanliness through many different roles including patient room cleaning and turnover, daily occupied patient room disinfection, public waiting room and lobby sanitization, linen distribution, floor maintenance, waste management, and more!
Qualifications
Education: HS/GED preferred but not required.
Experience: EVS values employing individuals with a variety of backgrounds. Extensive hands-on training is provided by leadership staff regardless of experience level.
Additional Skills/Abilities: All positions require the ability to follow verbal and written instruction, effective communication (both orally and in written form) and basic computer capabilities. Employees with great communication, quality, attendance, and attitudes thrive in EVS.
