Position Summary:

The FLOD Non-Card Analyst II leads complex first-line risk and control activities, owning specific processes or domains end-to-end. The Analyst designs/optimizes controls, develops sampling strategies, performs root-cause analysis, and drives remediation plans through closure. The role produces executive-ready analytics and materials, mentors Analyst I team members, and serves as a key liaison to Compliance, Audit, OCM, PMO, ERM, and Technology.

Scope & Portfolio:

  • Recreational Lending - dealer intake, underwriting/origination, booking, titling & insurance, repossession, collections, and servicing.
  • Flow Lending - flow/wholesale programs (e.g., GreenSky, LendingClub), onboarding, performance monitoring.
  • Deposit Operations - payments, claims, item processing, reconciliations, escheatment, customer communications.
  • Merchant Operations - merchant onboarding, chargebacks/disputes, settlement & funding, PCI coordination.
  • Key supporting platforms and third parties across the above domains (e.g., Fiserv, Salesforce, LoanPro).

Essential Functions:

Risk & Control Ownership

  • Own assigned processes within Rec Lending, Flow Lending, Deposit Ops, or Merchant Ops; keep control library current.
  • Design/refine controls based on risk assessments, regulatory changes, and testing results.
  • Develop/execute QA/QC plans and targeted deep dives; validate corrective actions and sustainability.
  • Create and maintain KRIs/KPIs, thresholds, and monthly dashboards/heat maps for leadership.

Advanced Analysis & Reporting

  • Perform trend and root-cause analysis on defects, complaints, and exceptions; recommend actionable fixes.
  • Build executive-ready presentations with clear findings, impacts, and prioritized remediation plans.

Change Management & Testing Leadership

  • Lead operational readiness for changes (requirements, testing, training, go-live criteria, early-life monitoring).
  • Ensure evidence, approvals, and control updates meet governance standards.

Access, Data & Third-Party Oversight

  • Coordinate UAR cycles for assigned systems, including segregation-of-duties analysis and exception remediation.
  • Lead vendor/third-party first-line reviews (SLAs, KPIs, control attestations, testing coordination).

Coaching & Collaboration

  • Coach Analyst I colleagues on testing discipline, documentation quality, and analytical methods.
  • Partner cross-functionally; communicate status, risks, and decisions crisply to management.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years in financial services operations, analytics, or first-line support.
  • Strong Excel skills and basic Power BI familiarity; disciplined documentation and organization.
  • Clear written and verbal communication; attention to detail.

Summary of Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience in at least one domain: Rec Lending, Flow Lending, Deposit Ops, Merchant Ops.
  • Experience with Fiserv, Salesforce, LoanPro, ServiceNow, Archer, PMO suites, or Power BI.
  • Working SAS/SQL proficiency or comparable data-wrangling experience is a plus.
