Job description

JOB SUMMARY

Position is responsible for designing a template and implementing a strategic plan to standardize retail showrooms, operational procedures, and new hire training. This would include creating a detailed procedure for each category of the strategic plan making sure the plan is adhered to and followed on a regular basis.



Essential Functions

Essential Function

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

         Develop a standardized Nippon Sanso display gondola, wall units, counter and develop a partnership with a preferred supplier for such products

         Develop a standardized Matheson Select section for promotion of Matheson Select Products

         Develop and implement a bin location plan for better control of SKU's

         Support specific vendor or internal Nippon Sanso retail promotions

         Support the internal Nippon Sanso Welding Essential List and determine market preferences are being met

         Drives the implementation of Nippon Sanso purchasing and inventory management guidelines and requirements

         Provides and implements ideas to promote site dead stock

         Develops a quick list reference guide for informational items regarding safety, IT, credit card processing, accounts payable, credit releases, and TIMs helpdesk. This would be on the new hire checklist

         Coordinates with Purchasing / Inventory Control Managers for inventory / product related matters

         Coordinates with Sourcing for upcoming product promotions, vendor requirements

         Perform other duties to enhance the revenue and income growth of the retail location

         Formulate key performance initiatives (KPI's) focusing on increasing walk-in customers, revenue / GM growth and growing active customer base, new walk-in customer gas contracts

         Retail Compliance Development - scorecard for understanding where we are with all sites for outlined initiatives
