What You'll Be Doing

As a Relationship Manager III at Bank Iowa, you will originate agriculture and commercial loans, including very complex loan requests. You will also promote the bank and its lending services to the community and help to identify and serve the community's financial needs through loan counseling, seminars and sales meetings, and by participating in and promoting the bank's community activities.


  • Meets with applicants to obtain information for loan applications and to answer questions.
  • Manages an agriculture and commercial loan portfolio with total outstanding balance of $25+ million and manages 25-50 client relationships requiring annual review.
  • Explains to clients the different types of loans and credit options that are available, as well as the terms of those services.
  • Provides advice to clients, upon request, in areas related to agricultural crop and livestock production, commercial business operations, sales and marketing, purchasing inputs, purchasing machinery and equipment, managing capital, cash flow management, and risk assessment.
  • Obtains and compiles copies of loan applicants' credit histories, corporate financial statements, and other financial information.

  • Bachelor's degree required, major in business or finance preferred.
  • 7+ years' work experience in a financial institution or loan office setting.
