Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. In the absence of the Manager or Assistant Manager, the Job Coach shall make sure that all business is completed in a timely manner.
  2. Assist with keeping an accurate inventory of all materials in the store on a monthly basis.
  3. Assist in creating new procedures which will enhance the organization of the Pakmail store.
  4. Manage and maintain the virtual mailbox program.
  5. Learn how to properly package items needing to be shipped. Once trained, these will be the skills you teach your trainee.
  6. Provides job coaching and training in a variety of settings including, but not limited to, Pakmail & DKA
  7. Coaches' clients in both hard and soft skills to ensure a professional appearance and demeanor. Assists clients in learning soft skills needed for successful employment:
    1. Stress management
    2. Time management
    3. Anger management
    4. Communication skills
    5. Organizational skills
  8. Serves as a quality control of client work to ensure accuracy and compliance with customer's requirements.
  9. When working at Pak Mail, follows all OSHA safety requirements.
  10. Instruct clients using prepared curriculum.
  11. Completes all necessary reports and paperwork in a timely manner including progress notes, monthly reports, time sheets and incident reports.
  12. Maintains strict confidentiality of clients' and customers' records in accordance with HIPPA, DRM, and Federal Copyright Regulations.
  13. Available to fill in with minimal notice during regular work hours.
  14. Access to reliable transportation.

Minimum Qualifications:
  1. A minimum of one year experience providing rehabilitation services to people with disabilities
  2. Experience working with various computer software and applications.
  3. Must be able to pass drug screen.
  4. Ability to write progress notes outlining the clients' daily training and steps toward achieving their goals.
  5. High School diploma or GED
  6. Able to adjust to the operations of each worksite and be available to cover during all regular work hours.

BASIC SKILLS NEEDED:
  1. Knowledge of basic computer functions (Microsoft Office, keyboard and mouse, internet, Outlook, etc.)
  2. Ability to teach and train people with various levels of education, learning styles and experience.
  3. Understanding of the principles of Psychiatric Rehabilitation
  4. Ability to document client progress in medical record format.
  5. Good written and verbal communication skills
  6. Ability to use various hand and power tools.
  7. Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
  8. Ability to bend, twist, stoop and lift to 40 lbs.
  9. Attention to detail.
