What You'll Be Doing

  • Build detailed outage schedules (MS Project), define task sequencing, and identify the critical path to minimize downtime.

  • Identify and finalize all maintenance activities plan (kiln, mills, crushers, preheaters, etc.), ensuring a clear, detailed outage scope with task-level breakdown.

  • Determine manpower, contractor requirements, tools, and materials; coordinate with plant teams, procurement, and vendors to ensure availability.

  • Develop outage cost estimates, track planned vs. expected expenditure and identify cost optimization opportunities before execution by leveraging data and plant collaboration.

  • Analyze potential risks (equipment delays, resource conflicts, safety concerns) and prepare contingency plans to avoid downtime overruns.

  • Pre-qualify vendors, align on scope, timelines, safety requirements, and ensure contracts are ready prior to outage start.

  • Act as the central coordination point between plant operations, maintenance, regional teams, and contractorsโ€”ensuring alignment before mobilization.

  • Use past outage data and KPIs (duration, cost, productivity) to improve planning accuracy and reduce future outage durations.

  • Drive continuous improvement through post-outage analysis, reporting, and best practices implementation

What Are We Looking For

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in maintenance and project planning within a heavy manufacturing environment; cement plant experience preferred.

  • Strong capability in outage planning, project management, and maintenance coordination in industrial environments

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, and stakeholders effectively

  • Knowledge of cement manufacturing processes, equipment, and maintenance systems (e.g., CMMS/SAP)

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work across diverse teams and locations

  • Willingness and flexibility to travel to plant sites for planning and execution activities

Work Environment
This role operates in both office and plant environments, supporting multiple sites within a designated region. Travel is required during outage preparation and execution phases. The position involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, including operations, maintenance, contractors, and regional leadership.
